It's Golden!

On this 7th day of the 7th month and 7 years ago, Cody and i were married! I guess that makes it golden...right?! This picture was taken just seconds after Cody got down on one knee and proposed to me on the top of a mountain in Salt Lake City 7 years and 2 months ago. A couple happened to be running by and offered to take this picture for us (and we thought we were the only ones up there) The picture is a little rough, this is a scan of a scan, i have no idea where the original is, which makes me so sad.

It has been an incredible 7 years! I am still (and more so) so madly in love with this man. HE IS IT FOR ME! A friend of mine asked me the other day why our marriage works because we just seem to still be so in love. Honestly, Cody and I have our good days and our bad days, but there are definatly more of the good. I think when it comes down to it, we just have a mutual respect for eachother. We never raise our voices at eachother and never call eachother names. Here are just 10 of a million little reasons why I love him!

1. His LOYALTY to me, and everyone and everything that matters to him!

2. He is an incredible father to our little rugrats. He's the funnest dad on the block, so young at heart, fun and playful. Yet he keeps them disciplined in love and still has their total respect. They love their daddy!

3. He's so GENEROUS and would give anyone, anything! (we debate this topic frequently) Cody empties his pockets anytime we pass a begger on the street. It drives me crazy... I say "how do you know who really needs it" he says, "it doesn't matter, it's not up to me to say whether they NEED it or not" Although we may argue this topic I am so proud to stand next to him when he does things like this. I love his unconditional generosity!

4. His CONFIDENCE!

5. His crazy SENSE OF HUMOR. He always gets me to the point of the squeaky laugh (those who know it, know what i'm talking about). Life would be boring without him.

6. He knows how to get me to laugh or smile even if i don't want to!

7. He has the ability to make a game out of anything and involve everyone! He is a LEADER!

8. His awesome hair! (i'll post pictures tomorrow) it's been a good 4 months since the last haircut. But i love it!

9. He is always concerned about me and my well-being!

10.His HONESTY! I know that he would never lie to me. And he's always totally honest when i need an opinion about what outfit makes me look skinnier!

He is my soulmate for eternity and i can't.....imagine my life without him!
